By Lewis Kuchineyi

Gweru based Premier Soccer League debutants Sheasham FC who are set to lock horns with Dynamos FC at the National Sports Stadium in Harare are optimistic of picking maximum points.

Speaking to Digest Sport in an interview the team’s head coach John Nyikadzino said his charges are determined to collect maximum points in the encounter.

Bouyed by the opener were the team drew with Chicken Inn last week, Nyikadzino is relying on the team’s form for the tough encounter.

Dynamos thrashed Hwange 1-0 in the opener and is determined to stretch the lead.

“We are well aware of the history that Dynamos has and we know that we have a mammoth task ahead of us. We are trying by all means to prepare for the game so that we protect our brand Sheasham. However, as a new kid on the block we still have a lot to learn.

“It’s obvious that people expect us to lose but we are however going there and enjoy the match and protect our brand. We shall play to the best of our ability and enjoy the game,” he said.

The Gweru based outfit seeks to use the lessons they learnt from their first PSL match against Chicken Inn to cause a major upset in tomorrow’s encounter.

Nyikadzino said that they are working to improve on their defence, and attacking format when they face the Glamour Boys.

He said they are also going to use the Dynamos match as a learning curve for their next encounters.
